1. Overview

This policy covers thesecurityblueprint.com, operated by Michael Kingrey ("The Security Blueprint," "we," "us"). It explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

2. Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the Site:

  • Waitlist signup: if you submit your email to be notified about a product, we store that email address for that purpose.
  • Purchases: when you buy a SecureOps™ document, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your email and payment details to complete the transaction. We receive your email address and basic order details (which product, when, transaction ID) — never your full card number.
  • Facility Risk Dashboard: if you start an assessment, we store what you enter — a facility name, domain scores, and risk-register findings — tied to a private link, not to your name or identity. We don't ask who you are to use it.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to: deliver the product you purchased, keep a record of your order in case you need support or a re-download, notify you when a product becomes available (if you signed up for that), and respond to messages you send us. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

4. Payment information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and handles that directly. When you check out, Stripe's payment page may set its own cookies as part of its fraud-prevention and security processes; see Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle your information.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Site:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, and the database behind the Facility Risk Dashboard and order records.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the Site are loaded from Google's font service, which may receive your IP address when the fonts load. This is standard for any site using Google Fonts and isn't used to track you elsewhere.

6. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, support, and legal purposes. Facility Risk Dashboard data persists as long as the assessment exists — if you'd like an assessment deleted, contact us with the link and we'll remove it.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to delete a waitlist signup, a Facility Risk Dashboard assessment, or your purchase-related information (aside from records we're required to keep for tax or accounting purposes) at any time — see Contact below. If you're in a location with specific data-protection rights (for example, the EU/UK or California), we'll honor requests consistent with those laws.

8. Cookies and tracking

The Site itself does not use third-party advertising or analytics-tracking cookies. Cookies you do encounter come from the services above (for example, Stripe's checkout page) doing their job, not from us tracking you across other sites.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business use by security and facility professionals, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
