Terms of Sale
Last updated August 18, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern any purchase made on thesecurityblueprint.com (the "Site"), operated by Michael Kingrey ("The Security Blueprint," "we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase on the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't complete your purchase.
2. What you're buying
The Security Blueprint sells SecureOps™ systems — downloadable digital documents covering physical security and safety topics for facilities and organizations, each including policy language, standard operating procedures, forms, checklists, an audit tool, and related materials. Each system is sold individually and delivered as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file. A free preview of the first section, and a PDF preview, are available on every product page so you know what you're buying before you buy it.
3. License grant
When you complete a purchase, we grant your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- use, copy, and adapt the document for internal use at any and all of your organization's own facilities or locations;
- share it internally with your own employees, contractors, and consultants working on your organization's behalf; and
- modify the content to fit your organization's specific needs.
This license does not allow you to:
- resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise distribute the document — in original or modified form — to any company, organization, or individual outside your own organization;
- post the document publicly or otherwise make it available for download by anyone outside your organization; or
- represent the underlying template as your own original work when distributing it within your organization.
4. Not professional advice
SecureOps™ systems are starting-point templates built from common industry practice. They are not a substitute for a professional security, safety, or legal assessment of your specific facility, and we don't guarantee that using one will satisfy any particular law, regulation, insurance requirement, or industry standard that applies to you. You're responsible for adapting each document to your own situation and consulting qualified professionals — legal, security, safety, or otherwise — as needed.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in USD at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout based on the information you provide.
6. Delivery
Delivery is instant and digital. After a successful payment, you'll receive a secure, time-limited download link for your document. There's no account to create and nothing physical is shipped.
7. Refunds
Because delivery is instant and digital, all sales are final once a document has been downloaded — there's no way to "return" a digital file once it's in your hands. If a technical problem on our end prevents you from receiving or downloading your purchase, contact us at the email below and we'll make it right, either by fixing access or issuing a refund.
8. Intellectual property
The Security Blueprint retains all copyright and other intellectual property rights in every SecureOps™ document. Your purchase conveys the license described in Section 3 — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying content.
9. The Facility Risk Dashboard
Where offered, the Facility Risk Dashboard is accessed via a private, unguessable link rather than a login. Treat that link like you would a shared document link: anyone who has it can view and edit that assessment. You're responsible for keeping it private. See our Privacy Policy for what's stored and how.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
SecureOps™ documents and the Site are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that any document will prevent a security incident, satisfy a specific compliance requirement, or meet the needs of any particular facility.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Security Blueprint's total liability arising out of any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a SecureOps™ document.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
